# Where can I view account balance and trade history on the MT5?

You can view your account balance and trade history on the MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform through the ‘Toolbox’ window. Here are the detailed steps:
 Account Balance:
 • Trade Tab: Open the ‘Toolbox’ window by pressing Ctrl+T or by selecting ‘View’ > ‘Toolbox’ from the menu.
 • Navigate to the ‘Trade’ tab. Here, you will see your account balance, equity, margin, free margin, margin level, and any open positions and pending orders

Trade History:
 • History Tab: In the same ‘Toolbox’ window, switch to the ‘Account History’ tab. This tab provides a detailed breakdown of all your past trades, including the date and time of each trade, type, size, instrument, price at open, take-profit and stop-loss levels, price and time of close, swap fees, and profit
 • Filtering and Exporting: You can right-click within the ‘Account History’ tab to filter the history by a specific time period or to export the history to a file for further analysis

Viewing on the Portal:
 • Portal Access: You can also view your account balance and trade history through the WB Portal.
 • Steps: Log in to the WB Portal, select ‘View More’ next to your account number, and then click on ‘Trading History’ to see a comprehensive breakdown of your past trades.
